As the presidential election approaches in Negeri Fatamorgana (Fatamorgana Land), troubling signs of dishonesty begin to surface in a quiet village. Langit (Panji Zoni), a young man who lives there, discovers suspicious activities threatening the integrity of the upcoming vote. Determined to protect his community, Langit steps up to ensure a fair and honest election. Joining his cause are Nawang (Angel Lisandi), a social media influencer, and Nayla (Ditha Samantha), a political activist. Together, they campaign tirelessly for a clean and fair election, battling widespread dishonesty that reaches even the smallest villages.
Behind the scenes, this film is the latest project by real-life husband and wife duo, director R Jiwo Kusumo and producer Ditha Samantha. The two have previously collaborated on several titles, including Zerre: Pendekar di Ufuk Timur (2021) and the upcoming Cahaya Gemintang Masa Depan. Negeri Fatamorgana also marks the second time actor Aditya Zoni being directed by these filmmakers couple, following his role in Zerre: Pendekar di Ufuk Timur.
