No Other Land
In No Other Land, Palestinian activist Basel Adra, born and raised in the embattled region of Masafer Yatta in the West Bank, turns his camera on the slow erasure of his homeland. With gripping urgency, Adra documents the destruction of Palestinian homes and communities at the hands of the Israeli state. Along the way, he crosses paths with Yuval Abraham, a Jewish Israeli journalist who stands in solidarity with the Palestinian cause. Despite coming from starkly different backgrounds, the two unite in a joint mission: to bear witness and share the untold stories of Palestinian struggle with the world.
This powerful collaboration is more than just a film—it's a rare, humanizing testimony of empathy, resilience, and resistance in one of the world’s most polarizing conflicts.
No Other Land premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) in 2024, where it first captivated global audiences. By 2025, it had won international acclaim, ultimately taking home the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature at the Academy Awards. Celebrated for its unflinching honesty and deeply humane perspective, the film continues to make waves across borders and cultures.
