Fostering Integrity: Indonesian Film Censorship Institution Ramps Up Anti-Corruption Awareness
Jakarta, July 31, 2025 — In a determined step toward strengthening clean governance, the Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (Lembaga Sensor Film Republik Indonesia or LSF RI) held a special event titled "Integrity and Anti-Corruption Awareness for LSF Employees 2025” in Jakarta on Thursday (31/7). The initiative underscores LSF’s ongoing commitment to promoting transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct within the institution.
The session featured Medio Venda Sukarta, Director (Ad Interim) of Anti-Corruption Outreach and Campaigns, as the keynote speaker. Sukarta delivered a compelling presentation on the dynamics of corruption, corrupt behavior, and the risks of gratuity in public service. He stressed that every public institution must actively foster integrity and uphold honest, transparent practices.
"Through this program, LSF RI reaffirms its commitment to building transparent and accountable governance while supporting a strong anti-corruption system across all levels of the organization," Sukarta stated.
A highlight of the event was the symbolic signing of a Joint Commitment Charter and Integrity Pact by all LSF employees. This act marked a collective pledge to maintain a corruption-free environment within the institution and beyond.
The event is part of LSF’s broader strategy to cultivate a culture of integrity and reinforce its role as a trustworthy public body responsible for overseeing film censorship in Indonesia. By embedding anti-corruption values into everyday practices, LSF aims to set a strong example in the public sector—proving that clean governance is not just a policy, but a shared purpose as well.
